Now to put my training to use

I just have to say

I had a great time during staff training day

I learned so much more about web 2.0

Now I need to get to work,there is so much I don't know

I will try my hand at mashing

Or maybe even a podcast

But one thing is sure

I won't be doing the poet thing anymore!

Thanks to all staff who developed and worked on the training

And the staff who jumped in with great effort

Now the trick is to help the patrons learn

How knowledgeable the staff is and how much we have to offer

How wikis actually worked
I admit I did not add anything new
Maybe sometime later.

10 Things Done!

I learned about the podcasts and those google docs
But gained 10 lbs from eating ice cream while I worked
Then I downloaded some audio books
To listen to while take my daily walks.

Thanks to the wonderful SPL team
Who did all the work on this activity
I know I have so much more to learn
Especially to stay away from the ice cream!

Delicious experience

I now have a great new way
to manage my internet info
sharing /learning of sites with others
so I will have more time to play!

but my neices were laughing(50+)
I already have a facebook page
So I can look younger right?

but I don't have time

I thought RSS was for real simple susan
Well after viewing the options
my mind is numb
But I know I won't be snoozin'

starting my homework for SPL

So I thought I was cool
chatting with my neice
using face page or whatever
when not at school

Then at a Library Board meeting
a challenge was given
10 things I must learn
For the upcoming staff meeting

Now I knew about 5 things
new internet stuff they say
but as I set up my blog
I had some misgivings

SPL library staff
is much smarter than me
with very clever names
and with real laughs

The person who lurks in circ
and many others
including riki's picks
put in lots of work

so this is it so far
read and enjoy
I'm going back
to playing air guitar
